My phone rang March 15th, it was Captain Todd Smith. Capt. Todd runs a 42' Invincible tender and was currently in Marsh Harbor. He said the following week he needed to run the boat back to Miami and wanted me to fly in and keep him company on the long run back. We headed out of key largo at 8:00 am looking for dolphin. As soon as we crossed the edge we got into scattered weeds but didn't put the lines in till we found a weed line in 300 feet of water. Conditions looked perfect but we didn't get any action so we moved out looking for the next line. Every half mile or so there was another line but still no bites. I did notice that the moon was up and bright so possibly that slowed the action. Sure enough, by mid day we started hearing reports of fish getting...

A beautiful morning greeted us for the crossing. I had the pleasure of being invited by a great Miami crew on a 42 Hydrasport. This is one serious fishing machine but with all the comforts. We throttled up the quad 350 Yamahas and were on the way. 2 hours later we arrived in Bimini, quickly cleared customs and were on the way to our preferred location, the Isaacs. Spread consisted of 2 Islander Lures and 3 Bost Lures. The Bost #38, the Bost #80 and the Bost #106. First bait hit not 3 minutes into the troll was a red Islander....
